Summer is coming and we’re all desperately seeking out the nearest air conditioning unit.
But there’s a much more fun way to stay cool in the capital this summer – and it’s a great way to exercise too.
Did you know there’s an ice rink in Zayed Sports City which caters for all skill levels from absolute beginner to world-class Olympian?
Well, there is, and we headed down to explore it for this week’s vlog.
Watch below to see us pick up a few tips from coach Steve, and then pick ourselves off the ground after a number of embarrassing falls.

It’s open to the public as well as tuition groups every day and fees start at Dhs40 per session, which lasts an hour.
