Abu Dhabi’s Jubail Mangrove Park has quickly become one of the most popular attractions in the city.
More than 80,000 people have visited the destination since it opened its doors at the end of January.
The Mangrove Walk features three tracks at distances of 2km, 1.6km and 1km, allowing you to take in the natural beauty of the mangroves, go wildlife spotting and check out the views from the watch tower.
Soon a glamping experience is also set to open at the destination, meaning you can spend the night under the stars.
Five air-conditioned domes will be available for overnight stays for those who want to spend the night under the stars, with more scheduled to open later.
Each dome features a double bed and has an attached wet room with toilet and shower.
An on-site reception building will also be open, including a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.
The camping site is a short drive from the Mangrove Walk and is not accessible to the public unless you’re staying overnight.
There’s no firm opening date or prices yet, but as you can see from our pictures the pods are ready to go.
Keep your eyes peeled to Time Out Abu Dhabi and we’ll share the announcement when it comes.
Park bosses are also reminding people not to litter at the park – there is a clean-up operation needed every day following the careless behaviour of people visiting. It’s a beautiful location, so let’s keep it that way.
