UFC 242 is coming to the capital on September 7 and with a huge range of events leading up to it, Abu Dhabi Showdown Week is going to be huge.
Away from the octagon, there’s a city-wide programme of events to get people excited and involved with one of the biggest sporting events of the year.
There’s live music with Red Hot Chili Peppers on Wednesday September 4 and J Balvin on September 5 at The Arena on Yas Island, a huge number of parties, deals and offers too.
As if more was needed, there are also promotions planned at hotels and restaurants on Yas and Saadiyat Islands and ‘Knockout Deals’ at malls across the city (including Abu Dhabi Mall, WTC Abu Dhabi and Yas Mall).
Time Out Abu Dhabi has also teamed up with restaurants across the capital for a series of Knockout Burgers deals.
There will be activations in malls, photo opportunities with UFC stars, the chance to get your picture taken with UFC belts, autograph sessions and, of course, the weigh-ins before the fights, too.
