Are you looking to turn a new chapter on your Thursday night plans?
Then grab a pen and paper and take down some notes because there is an exciting new release coming from the Library Bar.
Launching (or should that be publishing?) on Thursday July 1, the swish bar at The Abu Dhabi EDITION is introducing a new brunch called Writer’s Block.
With prices starting from Dhs175, you can scan your way through unlimited beverages inspired by famous films like The Last of the Mohicans and Romeo & Juliet for three hour slots between 6pm and 11pm.
And while your ability to write might not improve, your taste buds will have a chance to examine a four-course menu that includes cold cuts, cheese and olives in chapter one, lobster tacos and beef tartar charcoal cones in chapter two, spice beef pizza, wagyu skewers and teriyaki salmon in chapter three, before closing with chapter four and smoked chocolate truffles.
But if you can’t wait until Thursday, the Library Bar is also hosting its own Book Club from Saturday to Wednesday.
From 5pm to 8pm, book clubbers can get their mitts on signature mixed drinks and house beverages from Dhs35.
And should you start to feel peckish, there is 30 percent lopped off the à la carte menu – that’s a deal that would bring a smile to event the crankiest librarian.
We guess that’ll complete the story of your summer nights out in Abu Dhabi.
