A new Abu Dhabi bar is doing its bit to help anyone feeling lonely this Christmas.
Easy Tiger, in the Al Ain Palace Hotel, is offering a free Christmas dinner to anyone alone in the capital over the festive period.
So if you’re around on December 25 and don’t have any family or friends to pull a cracker with, you know where to head.
All you need to do is book ahead (for one person…) or turn up alone at 2pm on Christmas Day and you’ll get your free dinner.
Brian Smith, one of the management team behind the venue, says: “Christmas can be a lonely time without your family or friends around you so we’d like to invite anyone who’s in the capital alone this year to join us at Easy Tiger for a free Christmas dinner.
“There’s no need to be alone this year, you can come and be a part of our family.”
You can also book your takeaway turkey from Easy Tiger this year, though you’ll have to pay for that – with birds starting art Dhs420 and sides extra.
If you’re heading out with pals in the run up to Christmas you can also get a three-course meal meal with house beverages and sparkling for Dhs195 from 7pm until 11pm between now and Christmas Day. With soft drinks it’s Dhs135.
The pub, which only opened a couple of months ago, is from the same team as Viewz in the Cristal Hotel, which picked up an award for its entertainment the Time Out Abu Dhabi Music & Nightlife Awards 2019.
While Viewz is a place to let your hair down late at night and get involved in crazy quiz shows, bucking broncos and karaoke, Easy Tiger is more of a venue to have a chilled out few drinks and a bite to eat.
