Abu Dhabi Classics, the classical music festival, is set to return in 2020 with a new programme of concerts from international acts.
Taking place from January 28 to February 7, a varied line-up will include performances from a number of orchestras and soloists.
The programme begins on January 28 with French pianist David Fray who will perform Bach’s Concertos for 2, 3, and 4 with the Geneva Chamber Orchestra.
Next, on February 1 French pianist Lise de la Salle will perform Dancers, a performance that blends classic music with dance and other musical styles.
Taking to the stage at The Cultural Foundation on February 4, Hamburg Symphony Orchestra who will perform works from Tchaikovsky and Brahms.
The orchestra will return on February 5 to celebrate the 250th birthday of Beethoven at Emirates Palace Auditorium, where they will perform the iconic 9th Symphony.
On February 6, Egyptian singer and reality TV star Sanaa Nabil will perform Laylat Saltana accompanied by the group Cordes Croisées, made up of elite Egyptian musicians.
Bringing the programme to a close on February 7, Lebanese singer Magida El Roumi will take to the stage to perform some of her most popular songs.
