Select groups can see the museum for free

Louvre Abu Dhabi is back open the public and there’s lots to see at the museum.

As well as the museum’s permanent collection the latest exhibition Furusiyya: The Art of Chivalry between East and West has been extended until October 18.

Now, the Saadiyat Island museum has announced that taxi drivers can enter the museum for free until the end of the year.

Taxi drivers also get three additional tickets for family members of friends that can also enter the museum free of charge.

Drivers must show their ID at reception to redeem the offer.

Earlier this summer the museum announced that children under the age of 18 could visit for free as well as those over the age of 60.

Revised opening hours have also been launched with the museum now open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6.30pm.

A limited number of visitors per hour will be permitted to ensure safe social distancing and all visitors must wear a face mask, gloves and undergo thermal testing upon entry.
