A new French restaurant is opening on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island

La Salle will open on New Year’s Eve at Saadiyat Beach Club

Saadiyat Island has always been one of our favourite areas in Abu Dhabi, and now it is about to get even better.

French restaurant La Salle will be opening at Saadiyat Beach Club in spectacular style on New Year’s Eve, and we are so excited to check it out.

The elegant dining room is designed to look like a work of art, and the floor-to-ceiling windows mean that diners will get the best possible view of the pristine beach and blue Gulf beyond.

The menu is inspired by the region of Provence and the coastal cities in the South of France, and each of the authentic dishes are made using only the finest ingredients that money can buy.

Signature dishes include seafood broth, wagyu beef with mushrooms and truffle mash, black cod with Lyonnaise potatoes and sweet crepes with orange butter, cottage cheese ice cream and soaked pears. Delightful.

There will also be a cool bar area serving classic and contemporary mixed drinks.

Can’t wait to try it?

Well the venue is marking its opening with an 11-course dinner on December 31, and bookings are open from Sunday December 15.

Could La Petite Maison have a new contender for the title of the best European restaurant in Abu Dhabi?

Well, we’ll have to wait and see, but it certainly sounds like its going to be amazing.
Open from Dec 31. Saadiyat Beach Club, Saadiyat Island, www.lasalle.ae (02 656 3535).
