If your Saturday morning isn’t complete without an artfully plated avo toast for the ’gram, then the news you’ve been waiting for has arrived. And you don’t even need to be a whizz in the kitchen (lucky for us).
World-famous café Brunch & Cake is opening soon in Abu Dhabi, offering up its prettily presented dishes, pastries, cakes and more for you to scoff this weekend (after you’ve snapped it, natch).
With two popular branches up the road in Dubai, the Barcelona-born café has made its way to the capital and the breakfast brunch are going to be delighted. Brownie pancakes, pistachio croissants and that famed Next-Level Avo Toast (piled high with grated tomato, feta, avo, avo and more avo) – your mornings just stepped up a gear.
Brunch & Cake Abu Dhabi is set to open on Thursday February 11 at Marsa Al Bateen Marina, and we’re promised a “boho-chic interior” and, of course, brunch and cakes aplenty.
The cool interiors are ripe for the grid, but don’t take too long styling your dishes as you’re here to eat. Alongside all the dishes the café is known for, there’s a special Abu Dhabi menu too.
These include New York Cheesecake-style ricotta pancakes, pepperoni pizza with chilli honey jam, deep-fried pizza bites, burrata toast and more.
“We are extremely excited to open our doors in Abu Dhabi,” said Amjad Barakat, Co-Founder of Flip International. “This will be our largest location in the UAE yet. Since we arrived to the UAE in 2019, we have had regular visitors from the capital and to celebrate our big launch in their city, we have crafted an exclusive menu for the venue. Needless to say we are pumped to enter the dynamic Abu Dhabi food scene and can assure everyone we have many more exciting expansion plans in the pipeline.”
