One of the Abu Dhabi nightlife spots we’ve missed the most since the start of the pandemic has been Mr Miyagi’s. We miss the zany vibes, bucket-sized mixed drinks and all-around fun atmosphere at this spot.
Since it closed in early 2020, we’ve been asking ourselves – will Mr Miyagi’s Yas Marina ever come back?
The good news is the nightlife staple has confirmed it will be returning, and soon. We don’t have an exact date yet, but watch this space for more details incoming.
We’re hoping the puntastic neon signage, brightly coloured décor and beachside-style stand selling buckets of drinks will still be there when we get back.

Abu Dhabi’s nightlife is rapidly reviving and we’re here for it. Another nightlife institution in the capital, Boogie Box, is hosting its anniversary at Manarat Al Saadiyat with an open dancefloor. Boogie Box 10 Year Anniversary Party is happening on Thursday November 25. The party goes from 9pm to 4am.
Tickets are Dhs115 online and Dhs150 if you buy them at the door.
