Abu Dhabi

There are lots of images we could chose to showcase the UAE’s capital, from the glittering skyline on the Corniche, flamingos at Al Wathba Wetland Reserve or the stunning Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. However, when it comes down to it, the stunning natural landscape of the Liwa Desert is truly breathtaking and something you have to see for yourself if you call the UAE your home.

Ajman

It’s the smallest of the emirates but there’s plenty to love about Ajman from the Corniche and Ajman National Museum, to Ajman Fort and the Red Fort. Plus there are also a string of luxury hotels and resorts overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Arabian Gulf.

Dubai

Famed around the world, there’s no shortage of things to see and do. We all know about the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, The Palm and other big hitters and there’s no argument that Dubai’s towering skyline is a sight to behold. But forget the city for a moment, it’s the natural landscape that we’re head over heels in love with, and the stunning blue waters and jagged cliffs of Hatta. Stunning.

Fujairah

It was an easy decision to pick an image of Fujairah. We we could have chosen an image of the historic forts, Al-Bidyah Mosque or even the Hajar Mountain Wadis, but it had to be Snoopy Island, didn’t it? Of course.

Ras Al Khaimah

The ‘top of the tent’ emirate has loads to see, and we love seeing stunning images of the mountains and Jebel Jais. We’ve spent many weekend walking, climbing and camping in the hills and we may have had a go on the world’s longest zipline, too, because, why wouldn’t you? There are loads of great vantage points for scenic views in Ras A Khaimah but the beauty of the natural rock formations are what really capture our attention.

Sharjah

Once again there’s lots to see in this emirate, from the corniche and Al Noor Mosque to the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization and Sharjah Heritage Area. When the Sharjah Festival of Lights event takes place every year we love going to see what’s going on and seeing some beautiful landmarks take on a new dimension at night. In fact, we love it so much we wish every emirate did it but we’ll settle for Sharjah only right now.

Umm al Quwain
This Northern emirate is one for the bucket list, as you really need to see all that the UAE has to offer during your time here. Head along and you can see the historic Falaj Al Mualla fort, natural mangroves and creeks, plus Ed-Dur, one of the larges archaeological sites in the UAE and home to a historic settlement dating back thousands of years.
