Thursday: check out Burro Blanco’s new location 

Offering you the chance to get stuck in to some top notch Mexican cuisine, Abu Dhabi’s Burro Blanco has opened a second branch. You can now visit the new branch of the Mexican restaurant at Masdar City, where you can now dine in for the first time. Dishes on offer include avocado fritas, burritos, quesadillas, tacos and much more. Vegans can also enjoy the restaurant with a new Beyond Meat burrito. The restaurant has also launched its own mobile app and is offering a free burrito with your first order as well as discounts and promotions. Delish.

Thursday: Buy one, get one on drinks

Butcher and Still at Four Seasons Abu Dhabi is known for its great food, but the chic bar where you can order mixed drinks is another reason to pay a visit. Head along to the venue any day between 4pm and 7pm and you can take advantage of a happy hour promotion. You can get buy one, get one free drinks for three hours on all beverages including a range of handcrafted mixed drinks. We’re already making plans to visit.

Thursday: Go vegan at Café 302 and get 50 percent discount

Every Thursday Café 302 is hosting the Vegan Thursday Treat. Head along between 6pm and 9pm on the day and you can enjoy a 50 percent discount on all vegan dishes. Dishes include crispy tofu quinoa noodles, red lentil and cauliflower burger, kale and wild mushroom wrap, sweet potato fries, salads, soups and more. So if you’re vegan or just want to try something new, then why not get a great deal when dining out? We’re going for the burger.

Friday: Enjoy a big breakfast with the family for Dhs300

Breakfast, it’s great. Then again, we like eating all times of the day. If you’re big on breakfast and love a deal, like we do, then there’s a new offer you’ll want to know about. Head to The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort and Spa and you can enjoy a family breakfast every day of the week. Two adults and two kids can enjoy a big breakfast as well as tea and coffee at The Lounge for Dhs300. Dishes on offer include granola parfait, pancakes, eggs in any style, avocado toast and more.So if you’ve got kids in tow and want to start the day with a big bite, The Westin is a good option.

Friday: Enjoy unlimited drinks at Waves Bar

Waves Bar at Novotel Al Bustan has now reopened with loads of great deals on drinks and bites. Head along on Fridays and you can enjoy unlimited mixed drinks for Dhs149 per person. On Saturdays you can order a steak alongside two glasses of grape for Dhs155 per person. Finally, on Sundays, you can enjoy a cheese platter alongside two glasses of grape for Dhs95.That’s a lot of deals.

Friday: Set sail for Al Maya Island

Book online and you can take the short boat trip to the island to relax in the sun for a day trip. Day passes for the island start from Dhs199 and include Dhs150 credit to spend at the venue. A family pass has also been launched for Dhs495 that gives two adults and three children access to the facilities and Dhs350 vouchers to spend on food and drink. Plus, a daily happy hour promotion has been launched that includes six bottles of hops for Dhs99. We’re not sure if we can take the heat but we’re experts at bobbing about in the ocean. Friday: Get three pints and a burger for Dhs99 at Velocity

We love a bargain, you love a bargain, and if you throw in some great food and drinks with a deal it doesn’t get much better. Velocity at Marriot Hotel Abu Dhabi Downtown has launched some top food and drinks deals to get excited about. First up, a daily happy hour will offer drinks from Dhs24 from 3pm until closing. Fancy a bite too? You can get a burger and three pints for Dhs99 at the venue, which is pretty amazing value if you ask us.

Friday: Feast at Hidden Bar

Hidden Bar has a new food and drinks deal every Friday and Saturday, and while they aren’t calling it a brunch, it does include a set menu of food and unlimited drinks for a three-hour period. Guests will start off with a host of small plates including artisanal cheese tart, cold cuts, sushi and sashimi, Thai salad, quinoa and more. For the main you’ll get a platter of chef specialities including smoked meat, peri peri chicken, home-rubbed ribs, grilled vegetables and roast potatoes. Ending on a sweet note you can enjoy a surprise dessert created by the chef. Okay, we admit it, we’re intrigued by the mystery dessert.

Friday: Chill and brunch at Saadiyat Beach Club

One of Abu Dhabi’s most popular beach destinations has now opened to the public. Saadiyat Beach Club, located on Saadiyat Island, is now open for bookings. The beach club will not be accepting walk-ins so if you want to visit you’ll have to book ahead. On the weekend a day pass will cost you Dhs375 and all guests must bring their own towels to use the facilities. Saadiyat Beach Club’s pool is also now open from 8am to 9pm daily. So if you need to top up your tan there’s now another option. Just remember your sunscreen and towel.
There’s also an Eid brunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 1pm to 4pm starting at Dhs299 per person.

Friday: Enjoy brunch at Marco’s New York Italian

Winner of the Best Newcomer award at the Time Out Abu Dhabi Restaurant Awards 2019, Marco’s New York Italian is a fantastic restaurant and it’s now reopened. The Friday brunch is serving up a set menu, including starters of calamari, quarter salad, heirloom tomato and burrata salad, crispy New York Buffalo wings and American hot pizza. For mains you can choose from risotto funghi e tartoufo, mac and cheese with mushrooms, grass-fed beef sirloin, oven-baked black cod and cannelloni al funghi with cheese sauce. Desserts include Mr. White’s tiramisu, warm chocolate brownie and a classic 1930’s New York knickerbocker glory. It all sounds brilliant to us.

Saturday: Get stuck into to an English breakfast

Appaloosa has launched an all-day English breakfast deal. Head along between noon and 9pm any day of the week and you can tuck into the full works for Dhs59. On the plate you’ll get your choice of eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, black pudding, grilled tomato, mushrooms, baked beans and fried toast. Lovely stuff, although you might need to hit the gym hard to next day to work it all off. Pass us the brown sauce please?

Saturday: Hit the beach at Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi

Fancy a day at the beach? Of course you do. Head to Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi and you can hit the beach for Dhs150 with the whole amount redeemable on food and beverages at the hotel’s venues, including Verso. Sun, sea and some great food and drinks? We’re in.

Saturday: Hit the beach at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is welcoming visitors to enjoy a beach day at the resort and enjoy a few extras too. For Dhs500, you’ll get five day passes to the hotel’s beach and Dhs300 back in credit to spend on food and beverages. Children are also welcome and kids under 12 can accompany paying adults free of charge. The beach will be subject to strict social distancing rules and must not exceed a maximum capacity so you’ll have to book ahead before arriving. There’s also a day-pass deal, which is Dhs199 per person with Dhs100 redeemable in F&B credit. For both deals you’ll have to take your own towel. We don’t know about you but we’re already packing the sun lotion and beach towel. We’ll see you on the sand.

Sunday: Enjoy unlimited breakfast at Alba Terrace

If you prefer to let others worry about getting the eggs perfect then there’s an offer you should know about. Alba Terrace at The Abu Dhabi EDITION has with an unlimited breakfast deal. Head along you can order any of the delicious dishes as many times as you like alongside a coffee, juice and water for Dhs85. You can choose from dishes including fruit salad, avocado and egg toast, chilli scrambled eggs, all green omelette and baked shakshuka. Or you could try them all, if you think you can stomach it.

Sunday: Visit Louvre Abu Dhabi

Louvre Abu Dhabi has reopened its doors with strict safety guidelines. Tickets are now available to purchase on the museum’s website and must be bought you visit. All ticket holders will be given a specific visit time, with tickets allowing up to three hours inside. Children under the age of 18 will be allowed free access. Revised opening hours have also been launched with the museum being open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6.30pm. A limited number of visitors per hour will be permitted to ensure safe social distancing and all visitors must wear a face mask, gloves and undergo thermal testing upon entry. Visitors can explore the museum’s permanent collection and the Furusiyya: the art of Chivalry between East and West exhibition, which has been extended until October 18. While you’re there you could also check out the fancy restaurant Fouquet’s, from celebrity chef Pierre Gagniere.

Sunday: Get a pint for Dhs1 with your meal

The Scene by Simon Rimmer, at Yas Marina, has reopened with some top deals. Head along to Yas Island and you can get a pint of hops for Dhs1 with any main meal. Yes, that’s right, Dhs1. Plus, the venue has launched an all-day happy hour with buy one, get one free drinks, two pints for Dhs50 and you can get a full roast dinner every Saturday and Sunday for Dhs99. If you’ve got little ones in tow, children eat free, so there’s even more reason for families to check it out. So many deals, so little time.
