Etihad are giving passengers two free nights in Abu Dhabi this summer

Stay in a five-star hotel for nothing with this new deal

Anyone travelling through Abu Dhabi on an Etihad flight this summer is being encouraged to have a layover in the capital.

Those who have a two-night stay will get accommodation in a five-star hotel absolutely free.

The nation’s official airline is offering the deal for all bookings made through a travel agent between now and Saturday June 15.

The flights must take place between Sunday April 21 and Monday July 15.

Take your pick from 15 hotels including the Intercontinental Abu Dhabi Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, Courtyard by Marriott Word Trade Center, Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi and Radisson Blu Abu Dhabi Corniche Hotel & Resort.

It means anyone travelling through will have time to see some of the amazing sights in Abu Dhabi, such as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Watan, theme parks including Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld and natural beauty spots like the Eastern Mangroves and Empty Quarter.

Robin Kamark, chief commercial officer Etihad Aviation Group, says: “The number of visitors to Abu Dhabi continues to grow every year, and this incredible promotion allows us to showcase our extraordinary home to more visitors worldwide.

“Guests will be welcomed with traditional Arabian hospitality, and will enjoy a modern infrastructure, multi-cultural society, and the many unique attractions the city, and wider emirate, have to offer.”

Etihad guests booking online should select a multi-city flight and will be directed to the stopover booking page once the booking is confirmed.

Guests then have the option to choose a hotel package with one of the many hotel partners operating the promotion.
