Etihad Airways has been named the most family-friendly airline in the world.
According to research by lastminute.com the Abu Dhabi national carrier is the first choice for Mums and Dads travelling with babies and kids.
The online holiday and flight booking site researched the facilities of 37 global airlines and Etihad Airways topped the list in the family-friendly category.
The website asked family travellers their opinions on what makes the biggest difference on a flight.
The criteria used included priority boarding, in-flight entertainment, allowances for certain types of equipment – such as pushchairs and car seats.
Some of the most highly-rated onboard services include Etihad’s WiFi availability, seat comfort and availability of child-friendly meals.
Other airlines in the top ten short/ mid haul category include Air Canada, American Airlines and British Airways.
Travelling with babies and kids is looking far more appealing now.
