New co-working space launches in Abu Dhabi

Al Maryah Island is now home to an exciting modern work zone

Offices can be boring.

There are the cubicles, terrible coffee, annoying coworkers and those photocopiers that just refuse to play ball… But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Helping to foster local and international talent and provide a modern environment for individuals and companies, a new collaborative workspace has opened in Abu Dhabi.

WeWork, located at Global Market Square on Al Maryah Island, is a new 5,000 sq m workspace that is tailored to suit developing tech companies, universities and start-ups.

Spread over three floors, the innovative working environment is located in Hub71, built as part of the Ghadan 21 accelerator from Abu Dhabi government.

Catering to small start ups and international businesses, WeWork offers a range of different desks and environments to suit each individual client.
Prices start from Dhs1,470 per calendar month.

Anthony Yazbeck, managing director of international operations for WeWork, said: “Our mission is to create dynamic environments where these groups can learn from each other, increase productivity, recruit and retain talent, and bring the ideas of the future into reality.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what unique perspectives our Hub71 members – our first in the UAE – will bring to the WeWork community.”
