There’s a new bus route connecting Abu Dhabi and Dubai

The public transport network between the two cities has been upgraded

Getting around the UAE is getting a little bit easier thanks to upgrades to Abu Dhabi’s bus network.

A total of 327 new buses have been added to the capital to help ease congestion and improve the frequency of buses ahead of the launch of the new road tolls on October 15.

Helping Abu Dhabi residents travel to Dubai a new bus route has launched to connect the two cities.

The E102 bus will connect Mussafah to Ibn Batuta, meaning that residents living in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Mussafah and the surrounding areas will no longer need to travel to Abu Dhabi central bus station to travel to Dubai.

The route will leave from Mussafah before stopping at Abu Dhabi International Airport and then departing to Ibn Battuta.

The addition of the new service is part of larger plans to help connect areas on the UAE and improve the overall public transport network available to residents.

In addition, the frequency of the services could also be improved in the future allowing passengers to reach their destination more easily.

Plans are also in place to improve links between the capital and Dubai ahead of Expo 2020 including links from Marina Mall, Madinat Zayed and Al Ain.

It can only be good news that more buses will be available to help everyone living in the capital get from a to b.
