We’re so used to seeing amazing cars that it takes something special to make us stop and stare, but an upcoming auction in Abu Dhabi is making our jaw hit the floor.
Over Grand Prix weekend in Abu Dhabi, RM Sotheby’s is holding a car auction unlike anything we’ve ever seen.
The list of lots on offer for those who can afford to bid is amazing and we can’t wait to see what these incredible collectables generate at auction when they go up for sale.
Set to be held on Sunday November 30 at Yas Marina Circuit, the day of the big race, this sale is sure to turn a few heads before the F1 drivers take to the track.
So what’s up for grabs?
Among the most eye-catching lots is a 2017 Pagani Zonda Aether (estimated to sell for Dhs19,000,000), Michael Schumacher’s F2002 Ferrari car, a six-wheel Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, a 1979 Lamborghini Countach LP400 S Series and a 1990 Ferrari F40.
We’re not even sure what our dream car would be out of this bunch.
Other interesting lots up for grabs include Fernando Alonso’s Renault R29 engine cover from 2009, Gilles Villeneuve and Jody Scheckter’s Ferrari 312 T4 wings from 1979 and more.
