You can now vote on the UAE’s new logo

The country will plant a tree for every vote cast

The UAE’s leaders have asked residents of the country, and people around the world, to cast their vote a new logo for the country.

All you need to do is head to the website www.nationbrand.ae and pick your favourite from the three designs.

For every vote cast, the UAE will plant a tree – with the aim of planting millions across the world.

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, have called on the public to give their opinions.

A total of 49 Emirati artists from across the seven emirates submitted designs, with three making it to this stage.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum says: “Everyone contributed to our country’s success story, and we invite everyone to be part of choosing the best logo that represents our story. The UAE is approaching a new phase that requires us to connect with the world differently. The UAE Nation Brand will share our inspiring story with the rest of the world.”

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan adds: “The UAE’s development experience has inspired, and continues to inspire, millions across the world. Involving the public across the world in choosing the logo that represents the UAE is, therefore, an important step.

“Through its unique cultural and humanitarian journey, the UAE has become a successful model that leads by excellence and establishes a positive presence in the region and the world. This model presents an inspiration for every nation seeking to achieve tolerance, coexistence and peace.”

The three logos revolve around seven key values of the UAE – giving, openness, innovation, tolerance, credibility, humility and futuristic vision.

The final three options are called Emirates in Calligraphy, The Palm and 7 Lines.
