Why we changed our logo to Time In – but only for now

We will still bring you the best of the city, even if you’re not leaving the house

Dear Abu Dhabi,

We love going out in this city.

In fact, we spend every day going on and on in our mission to get you out of the house and experiencing the very best the emirates have to offer, whatever you’re into.
New restaurants, incredible museums, award-winning theatre, bucket-list brunches, adrenaline-pumping watersports, bass-thumping nightclubs… This list is as endless as this city’s ambition.

But with many major events being cancelled, tourist attractions temporarily closing and residents of the UAE being advised to take more precautions than usual, we understand it might not always be possible to get out and about as much as you – and we – would like.
So, just for a little while, we’re offering you a new way to experience the city: Time In.

We’re still going to tell you about the best things to do in town, the latest deals and greatest places that remain open to help you make the most of your free time. If you’re able to get out, and it’s safe to do so, we encourage you to show your city some love and support the places and people that make Abu Dhabi such a magnificent place to live.
But if you’re stuck at home and not able to enjoy these things, we’re going to help you bring the best of the city into your living room. For once, we say it’s okay to stay on the couch.

I’d also like to say, to Abu Dhabi’s venues, events, artists and hospitality staff – we’re on your side. Cafés, restaurants, bars, theatres, galleries and events are facing tough times, especially the independents. We’re here to support you, so drop us a line at hello@timeoutabudhabi.com so we can get the word out and help in any way we can.
To everyone reading: we’ll get through this. Support your local businesses, and support each other. We at Time Out – temporarily Time In – love you, Abu Dhabi. Stay safe, and stay optimistic.
