Abu Dhabi Police has announced that road radar devices and smart systems will monitor the roads during the National Sterilisation Programme.
Residents are required to stay at home each day between 10pm and 6am except for emergencies.
Those out and on the road during the National Sterilisation Programme will be identified and issued with automatic fines.

A Dhs2,000 fine will be awarded to anyone caught breaking curfew in Abu Dhabi using the new system with the exception of essential workers and in the case of an emergency.

Abu Dhabi Police reiterated the need for people to stay home each night between 10pm and 6am and to preserve social distancing measures as well as ensuring the wearing of gloves and masks in public places.
Recently a number of shopping malls have reopened to the public and many restaurants are also preparing to reopen in the coming weeks.
Abu Dhabi Government has also reiterated that children and the elderly are not permitted to visit malls at this current time.
