The UAE has reiterated its keenness to welcome those with valid residency visas back into the country and reunite with their families.
A joint statement from MoFAIC and ICA commented that “The move is aimed at streamlining their safe return to the UAE,” following travel restrictions put in place to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Those overseas looking to return to the UAE must register a Residents Entry Permit by visiting smartservices.ica.gov.ae.
The government also announced a change to the hours of the National Sterilisation Programme which will now take place from 8pm to 6am daily.
