Registration now open for Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation’s Art Residency

Offering ten artists a six-month residency for 2021

Have the artistic talent and creativity to show the UAE? Abu Dhabi’s Cultural Foundation has just the platform.

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) has now opened registration for its third edition of the Cultural Foundation’s Art Residency programme.

With registration open until Sunday November 15, the residency provides space and a platform for professional artists to hone their skills. And, to show off their work.

Ten artists will be selected as artists-in-residence, provided with a studio space, specialised resources and access to the Cultural Foundation’s facilities to exhibit their work.

Those selected will start their residency from January 25, 2021 to June 20, or from June 25, 2021 to January 20, 2022.

“From its beginnings three decades ago, Cultural Foundation has always been a haven for cultural and intellectual exchange in the very heart of the capital,” said director of Cultural Foundation Reem Fadda.

“It is our hope that this new cohort of resident artists will take this opportunity to not only work on their art but to grow and learn from each other in this supportive and collaborative environment.”
