Two of the UAE’s cities have been named the top financial cities in the Middle East and Northern Africa.
Dubai was named in first position and Abu Dhabi in second position in the Global Financial Centres Index, an annual list of the world’s leading financial centres.

Overall in MENA, the majority of cities fell in the overall global rankings.
Abu Dhabi was the only country in the MENA region to climb in the overall global rankings.
Dubai was ranked 17th in the world, and Abu Dhabi was ranked at 33rd.
