Abu Dhabi launches Choose to Vaccinate drive

UAE residents encouraged to opt for free COVID-19 vaccination

Abu Dhabi has launched a “Choose to Vaccinate” campaign aimed at all those living in the emirate, encouraging both citizens and residents to opt for vaccination against COVID-19.

The UAE government has reiterated to all residents that “COVID-19 will not disappear unless we fight back”, with free vaccinations for all residents forming the latest part of the country’s approach.

“Getting vaccinated is the simplest and most effective way to stay safe. Throughout history, vaccines have saved millions of lives around the world,” said Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre.

“COVID-19 will not disappear unless we fight back and the most effective way to do that is with vaccines. I hope everyone chooses to vaccinate, to break the infection chain and be a part of victory against this pandemic.”

All UAE nationals and residents can receive the vaccine completely free of charge from health centres across the emirate.
