The vaccination that’s currently being made available to the public is the Sinopharm vaccine.

Getting vaccinated involves getting two injections administered 21 days apart.

UAE-wide trials in the summer involved 31,000 subjects.

Six DHA health facilities will be administering the vaccine. They are Zabeel Primary Health Care Centre, Al Mizhar Primary Health Care Centre, Nad Al Hamr Primary Health Care Centre, Barsha Primary Health Care Centre, Uptown Mirdif Medical Fitness Centre and Hatta Hospital.

Categories of people eligible to get the Pfitzer-BioNTech vaccination include Emiratis and residents over the age of 60, people with chronic diseases, people of determination, frontline workers and vital sector workers.
