Dolci & Capricci’s Masdar City branch is serving free all you can eat Italian food and house beverages from 6pm-9pm tomorrow evening (Thursday May 20) to celebrate the grand opening of their new location.

Two Bellabot robots, Bella and Pudu, have been employed in the Masdar branch to assist human waiters with serving food.
With cat faces, 3D obstacle avoidance sensors, and an adorable AI voice system, they’ll entertain even the most tech-averse diners. Admit it, haven’t you always wanted to talk to a robot?
Pepper, from Softbank robotics, works at the restaurant’s main branch near World Trade Centre.
This ‘bot is a “learning robot.” It can be programmed to interact with and even remember regular customers. Does it feel like the future yet?
Pepper shares the restaurant’s menu and allows customers to record feedback, offering an unexpected experience for new visitors.
Dolci & Capricci is already known for its authentic and sometimes less common Italian dishes, such as the pennette cremose. They also serve coffee, fresh baked goods, and desserts in a casual environment.
