Book Emirates premium economy tickets: how much do the flights cost?

New cabin options for routes to Paris, London, Sydney and Christchurch

You can now book to fly in the brand new Emirates premium economy class on flights to Paris, London, Sydney and Christchurch.

And, according to our research, these premium economy flights will cost you about double the amount of a normal economy ticket, and around half the price of a business class fare.

Emirates premium economy tickets on A380 flights from Dubai to Paris Charles de Gaulle, Dubai to London Heathrow and Dubai to Sydney will start from August 1.

Premium economy tickets on A380 flights between between Dubai and Christchurch will go live from December 1.

Tickets for all four routes are available to book now.

Keen to try Emirates premium economy as soon as possible?

A return flight for one adult between Dubai and London Heathrow, flying Monday August 1 and returning Sunday August 7, will cost from Dhs9,445 in the swanky new premium economy cabin.

If you fly the same dates in the economy cabin, ticket prices start from Dhs3,355, and if you’re feeling flush and want to fly business class (don’t we all?), tickets will start from Dhs19,965 on the same dates.

To Paris on the same dates, from Monday August 1, returning Sunday August 7, a premium economy ticket for one adult will cost from Dhs8,825.

Economy tickets to Paris on the same route currently start from Dhs3,695.

Business class tickets cost from Dhs15,282, for one adult, return from Dubai to Paris.

So what do you get when you book Emirates premium economy tickets?


Your experience will start with dedicated check in at a premium economy counter at Dubai International Airport, and you get priority seating too.

No access to the lovely Emirates lounges at Terminal 3, DXB, is included with a premium economy ticket, however.

On board, passengers flying in Emirates premium economy will enjoy reclining seats spanning 50cm, in a sophisticated cream colour with adjustable headrests, extended leg room and 40-inch screens. Fancy.

You’ll get a welcome drink once you board and a better choice of food than in economy, with multi-course meals served on china tableware and stainless-steel cutlery, so you can almost pretend you are in business class.

Extra add-ons include bigger pillows, sustainable soft blankets made from recycled plastic bottles, reusable amenity kits on longer flights, and priority disembarkation.

The premium economy cabin is currently only fitted on six A380s, with plans to roll it out across 120 planes from November this year.
