Expo City Dubai is now open

You can now purchase a one-day pass for just Dhs120

Ever since it was announced that the Expo 2020 Dubai site will live on forever as District 2020 we have been eagerly awaiting more details.

Now, we can hardly contain our excitement as the time has finally come. Expo City Dubai is finally open.

Expo City Dubai has also announced a Dhs120 one-day pass that will give people admission to at least four main pavilions.

From Saturday October 1, Expo 2020 will be a 4.38sq m site which will be a hub for sustainability, innovation, education and entertainment.

The one-day pass will allow visitors to access the Vision and Women’s pavilions, which open on October.

But mega Expo Dubai fans will be thrilled to know you can get access to some key attractions.

In need of your Expo fix? Ahead of the official opening of the Expo City Dubai site on Saturday, visitors can visit two of its most popular pavilions, Alif, The Mobility Pavilion and Terra, The Sustainability Pavilion.

Tickets cost Dhs50 per person per pavilion and they will be open daily from 10am to 6pm. Tickets can be purchased at www.expocitydubai.com or at the four box offices at Expo City Dubai.

Garden in the Sky is also with tickets priced at AED 30 each.

Kids aged 12 and under get in for free as well as People of Determination.

From October onwards things will amp up with Al Wasl Plaza, the Surreal water feature, the Women’s Pavilion and the Vision Pavilion, as well as children’s playgrounds and the carousel opening at Expo City Dubai.

Later this year, the Opportunity Pavilion will become the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum too. We have lots to look forward to.

Planning on checking out Expo City Dubai? The spot will be reachable by Dubai Metro via Expo 2020 station and plans are in place for buggies, scooters and bicycles to be the modes of transport used in the zone.
