Confirmed: Eid Al Adha holiday will begin on Friday July 8

Private sector dates have been confirmed. Hooray to a long weekend!

The Eid Al Adha 2022 holiday dates are in for the private sector.

Already confirmed for the public sector earlier today, The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announced that the private sector will follow suit: the Eid Al Adha holiday will run from Friday July 8 until Monday July 11 (back to work on Tuesday July 12).

Yipee that’s four whole days off, so call your gang as it is time to get the diary out and lock in your Eid Al Adha plans.

Thursday June 30 will be the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah, with Friday July 8 marking Arafat Day. Arafat Day is an additional public holiday here in the UAE.
