Free parking hours in Abu Dhabi for Ramadan 2019 announced

Where and when you can park without charges this month

The Department of Transport has announced the Ramadan parking payment structure for Abu Dhabi.

From Saturday to Thursday, drivers will be able to park for free in the city between 2pm and 9pm.

You will need to pay for parking from 9am to 2pm and 9pm to 2.30am each day, except on Thursday, when parking will be charged from 9am to 2pm and between 9pm and midnight.

Meanwhile on Fridays parking will remain free of charge throughout the entire day.

Worshippers attending Taraweeh prayers at mosques will also not have to pay for parking as long as their vehicle does not block other vehicles or disrupt traffic flow.

The official start of Ramadan is yet to be announced but is expected to begin on May 6.
