Eating at fantastic restaurants is one of the main pleasures in life here in Abu Dhabi.

There are lots of amazing places to dine, with everything from the finest Japanese cuisine to high-end French fare on offer, and everything in between.

To celebrate all that is brilliant about the capital’s dining scene, we here at Time Out Abu Dhabi have teamed up with The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) for a very special six-week event.

Tastes of the Capital powered by Time Out Abu Dhabi will include 50 of the capital’s very best venues, which will be offering special menus from Monday July 1 to Thursday August 15.

The restaurant by celebrated chef Kunal Kapur is one of the best places to try Indian food in Abu Dhabi.

Each creative plate is presented with style and precision, and everything about this restaurant is designed to impress. Choose one fish from each course. 

First course
Oops I dropped my Chaat – crispy potatoes, chutney gel, almond soil, yogurt splatter and giant kachori

Second course
Mutton shorba – strong lamb broth, saffron butter, gold varq, garlic rusk and meat achar
Dal shorba chakhna – lentil soup, lemon chilli foam and toasted dal

Third course
Tacos – grilled chicken, parsi rub, crispy potatoes, apricot chutney and tingmo bread
Bread pakora – six cheese, charcoal batter, bread fritters, garlic and tamarind chutney

Fourth course
Nalli korma – slow-cooked lamb shank, rich cashew nut gravy and truffle naan
Khitchda – pearl barley, morels, shemiji, shitake, moong dal, broth and fungus pickle

Fifth course
Chenna tiramisu – mini rasmalai, espresso, peanut chikki and mascarpone
Gulab jamun – milk dumplings fried and stewed in sugar, cardamom and pistachio
