Abu Dhabi is a super city for sushi lovers.
With countless places to enjoy this Japanese specialty, it’s a safe bet that many of you will have become slightly obsessed with maki rolls since moving to the capital (#abudhabiproblems).
So if you like to think of yourself as a bit of an expert when it comes to nigiri and sashimi, we’ve got a new event that you might be interested in.
Kahraman restaurant at the Southern Sun Abu Dhabi is running three-hour sushi masterclasses on the last Saturday of each month, with the next one coming up on August 31.
The sessions will teach you how to roll like a pro and make authentic types of sushi like temari, the colourful ball-shaped sushi canapes which originate from Kyoto.
The classes can be held for groups of between eight and 12 people, for Dhs299 per person.
We can’t wait to be able to make ourselves dragon rolls every day for tea.
