Celebrating smaller and lesser-known venues, Abu Dhabi Culinary Season has launched the Hidden Gem series, highlighting restaurants serving great food that you may not have visited before.
From seafood to Thai, Lebanese, Spanish and more, there are 22 restaurants taking part in the campaign this year.
Participating venues include Al Dhafra, Al Liwan, Al Mufraka, All Directions, Aroy Dee, Bandung, Bosnian Hut, Bliss Tea, Boti Sweet, Golden Spoon, Kabul Afghanistan, Kitfo, Mamak, Ole! Espana, Pasha, Qian Zhou, Qwaider Al Nabulsi, Sultan Dubai Falafel, Vansha Ghar, Yamazaki, West To West Kitchen and Yalla Shay.
Plus, a city-wide scavenger hunt has been launched where you can win prizes for visiting the Hidden Gems.
All you have to do is download the GooseChase mobile app and search for Hidden Gems where you can sign up.
Once registered, you can sign up as a team or as an individual and complete the mission including trying specific dishes and uploading pictures.
Tag the restaurants and tag yourself or check in and you can complete challenges to be in the running for prizes including dining experiences, mall vouchers, products and staycations.
