It’s just a step away from Soul Beach

Love Italian food? Looking for a little bit of Rome in Abu Dhabi? … Who could say no?

Brand-new pizza restaurant Antonia is open now at Mamsha Al Saadiyat, and promises to deliver the streets of Rome to the Arabian Gulf with “a touch of Nonna’s love.”

The restaurant was created with Italian authenticity and modern refinement in mind, so says the team. And it brings glamorous-retro vibes just a step away from the gorgeous Soul Beach.

Get generous portions of pasta, a selection of pizza al taglio with traditional toppings, Italian grape, hops, and more.

The al taglio gourmet pizza is baked in rectangular trays, loaded with tonnes of toppings, and displayed in the counter to be sold by the square – half tray or full tray.

The concept is driven by chef and restaurant owner, Simone Federici, who was inspired by his grandmother to begin his culinary career at the age of 15. Each slice of pizza is fermented for 72 hours, made with rustic Italian flour and olive oil.

The menu also includes a selection of antipasti, organic salads, and suppli (Rome’s famous street food). For dessert you can sample sweet cold pizza and desserts. Weekly specials include Vongole Mondays, Gnocchi Tuesdays, and Sea Urchin Wednesdays available only on those days, so if that sounds appealing, you know where to go.
