Abu Dhabi WTC Mall guide

Everything you need under one roof at the The Mall at World Trade Center

I’m in desperate need of some retail therapy. Help me please, Time Out.
Of course, it will be our pleasure. Which area of Abu Dhabi are you looking to shop in?

I’m currently near the Corniche.
Right, in that case, look up. See the huge tower that looks like a giant lipstick? We’re going there.

Cool. What is it?
That’s the World Trade Center (WTCAD). We’re going to The Mall at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi, below it.

Nice. Tell me more…
The building is a landmark addition to the capital’s skyline. WTCAD marks the contemporary revival of a historic district within the heart of the city. It’s a welcome addition to the 330 World Trade Centers located in 100 countries around the world, which share the common purpose of facilitating and developing two-way international trade and business.

Sounds impressive What’s so good about it?
It’s a diverse and modern shopping space that caters to a wide audience. There’s plenty to do here and the shops will cater for your every need. If you’re fashion- and food-centric, then this is the place for you. The mall features the region’s first House of Fraser and holds regular events within its impressive environs.

Such as?
One example is the kids’ movie night that runs in the Souk area.

Apart from House of Fraser, what kind of shops can I expect?
We recommend the WTCAD Souk, which is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional market in Abu Dhabi. The Al Khalifa Street Bridge, which will be lined with restaurants and cafés, conveniently connects the Souk to the mall. Strolling through any of its 250 outlets, shoppers can find traditional artefacts, abayas, henna, spices, jewellery, Arabic perfumes, traditional clothing and accessories of all kinds.

What brands can I find there?
You’ll find retailers that are new to Abu Dhabi, including Karen Millen, BCBG and Missoni, as well as other popular brands.

Only in World Trade Center Mall

Jazz @ Pizza Express

The delicious Italian eatery launched at The Mall inside World Trade Centre, Abu Dhabi, and fans of the international chain can expect plenty of entertainment in the form of live music to enjoy while you tuck in. Foodies and spice fans are recommended to try the Calabrese, the hottest item on the menu. Order this one and you’ll get a pizza pie covered in spicy Italian sausage.
