Massive rallycross championship to be held at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit

The motor sporting event will see some of the biggest names in the sport roaring into the capital

Calling all petrol heads! It’s time to get revved up with the arrival of the first ever FIA World Rallycross Championship to be held in Abu Dhabi.

Yas Marina Circuit will welcome the world’s best and fastest rally drivers for the weekend-long event across Friday April 5 and Saturday April 6.

Tickets are on sale now for the opening race of the thrilling 11-round series, the first time a championship race has taken place in the Middle East.

Some of the world’s most talented drivers will compete for glory across the Championship’s thrilling Supercar and RX2 classes that feature a range of powerful, highly modified and super-fast versions of regular production cars.

The championship will also see another exciting first for Yas Marina Circuit, with the racetrack’s first-ever night race, with cars tackling the circuit’s custom built track under the floodlights.

Two-day tickets include will include the best in on-track, off-track and after-race action with practice and qualification sessions as well as the final thrilling race day and supporting races. Fans can also take part in all-access public pitlane walk and specially created Rallycross experiences.

As well as a full weekend of racing, there will also be off-track entertainment for families including live music, shows and plenty of food and drink stalls.
