New yoga classes launched in popular Abu Dhabi public park

Yogis can enjoy outdoor sessions at Umm Al Emarat Park

Yoga is a great way to keep active, improve flexibility and achieve a calm peace of mind.

Plus, with so many places in capital offering classes it’s easy to find the right venue for you to stretch out and strike a few poses.

Offering a new experience for yogis, Umm Al Emarat Park has launched a yoga season to offer twice-weekly outdoor yoga classes in the evening.

Led by Neli Merris of Seven Wellness, the classes will feature a range of different techniques to rejuvenate the mind and body.

Open to newcomers and more experienced yogis, the classes will be held in Umm Al Emarat park’s Wisdom Garden and participants can choose from single class options or signing up for a package.

Classes will take place every Sunday and Wednesday from 7pm to 8pm and cost Dhs60 for one class, Dhs149 for four, Dhs199 for eight and Dhs299 for sixteen.

Participants must pay in cash on the day.

A Dhs10 entry fee also has to be paid when visitors enter Umm Al Emarat Park and guests are also required to bring their own yoga mat and water.
