Drive around the updated Yas Marina Circuit track before Formula One drivers

Arrive and drive on the newly reconfigured track before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Have you always dreamed about driving around the Yas Marina Circuit like the F1 professionals? Now is your chance to do it an entire month before the racing pros will be zooming around it at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021 thanks to a free arrive and drive experience.

The public has the chance to experience the twists and hairpin turns on the newly reconfigured track at Yas Marina Circuit with the unique arrive and drive opportunity via DriveYAS. There’s no need to pre-register. Simply turn up in your car, sign the waiver, follow the rules (leave the racing to the professionals!) and take a spin around Yas Marina Circuit – for free.

Participants will even get a photo of their car on the track. YMC will handle all of the snaps so attendees can focus on their driving. The event is happening on November 10 from 1.30-3.30pm, a month before Formula One drivers will be competing on the very same asphalt.

The new track for the 2021 F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has been updated to enhance the experience for drivers and spectators, including more overtaking potential and a shorter, faster lap on the 5.28km track. Vroom, vroom. One major change is on the North Hairpin section, where the previous Turn 7 hairpin has been widened to a 20-metre-wide corner and “slow corners” have been removed. This gives professional drivers (we repeat: professional drivers) the chance to approach it at 300km per hour. Zoooooom.
