Louvre Abu Dhabi is celebrating its second birthday.
We can hardly believe it either, two years? Where did the time go?
Offering you a unique experience, not to mention an ace photo opportunity, the Saadiyat Island museum has big plans this weekend.
This Saturday Al Fursan, the aerobatic fleet of aircraft, will be flying over Louvre Abu Dhabi’s iconic dome.
Set to take place at 2pm on November 9, it’s a great opportunity to grab a snap of the UAE colours proudly flying over the cultural landmark.
A team of pop-up performers, artists, singers and dancers will also be at Louvre Abu Dhabi from 3pm to 6pm the same day to keep the celebrations going.
While you’re there you can also check out the museum’s latest exhibition 10,000 Years of Luxury.
Want even more excitement? Louvre Abu Dhabi has also announced a new cubist electro night to bring live music and projections to the venue for a unique audio and visual experience.
