Superheroes are a big deal these days.
It wasn’t that long ago that telling someone you read comic books would be met with an unimpressed stare and a dose of sympathy.
Those days are gone, thanks to huge success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, superheroes are a back and being a geek is cool.

Cinema Under the Stars has announced its return to Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island on December 20, 27 and January 1 and 10.
This time there’s a superhero theme and loads of comic book movies are set to be shown on the bug screen at the award-winning Yas Waterworld.
First up on December 20, Wonder Woman will be shown, followed by Batman Returns on December 27.
On January 1 it’s over to Superman: The Quest for Peace before the programme comes to an end of January 10 with a screening of Justice League.
If you have a day pass for Ferrari World Abu Dhabi or Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi on the days of the screenings you can get in for Dhs50.
Otherwise, entry to the events available to those with day passes to Yas Waterworld (which cost Dhs250).
The good news is you can splash around all day and have fun before the movies start, so you can make a day of it.
It sounds like super good fun (that’s a terrible pun, we know and we’re sorry).
