Free courses from Harvard University now available in the UAE

Learn technology, biology, the classics and more

Have you been looking for new ways to learn during your stint in self-isolation? Well if you are after things to do at home in the UAE, a number of short-courses have been made open to the public, for free, from renowned American university Harvard.

Given we all have a little bit more time on our hands than we’re probably used to, it’s time to make the most of it. If you’ve been looking to expand your skill set and knowledge in certain fields, Harvard’s courses are wide-ranging and in-depth across a number of different areas.

Many courses are open for entries now, and you can take your pick from a huge selection of subjects, including coding, law, history, architecture, biology and beyond.

From a computing side of things, courses include an introduction to game development, web and app development, data science, analytics, machine learning, computer science, technology law and beyond.

There are courses in bioethics and the laws of medicine and genetics, neuroscience, climate change and energy conservation, and meteorology.

You can even study the classics, with the works of Shakespeare, Handel, Bach and the architecture of the pyramids available to learn about.
