The popular Dubai beach club opens its second venue in the UAE in time for the long weekend

Cove Beach is opening in Abu Dhabi, its second UAE venue following the popular branch in Dubai.

Last month Time Out told you that Cove Beach was coming to Abu Dhabi’s Reem Island.

The new beach club, which already has a location at Bluewaters Dubai, will open on November 27.

Once open Cove Beach will be the first licensed venue on Reem Island and the firsr to open at the new Maker’s District, which faces Saadiyat Island.

At Cove Beach will be a 100-seat outdoor restaurant and lounge as well as a beach and pool that can host up to 1,000 people.

The 300m beach will also be home to watersports for guests to try including kite surfing and more.

Events including a ladies’ day, Saturday brunch and unplugged music sessions are also planned for the venue alongside a variety of activities to reflect the vibe and character of Makers District.

Pre-booking is required for all guests as well as temperature checks and a maximum capacity of four people to a table.

Adel Ghazzawi, co-founder of Cove Beach and LIVIT Hospitality Management, says: “This is an important milestone, not only for the Cove Beach brand, but also for the hospitality sector in the region.”
