Looking for cool (literally) things to do this summer? Dubai’s massive indoor theme park IMG Worlds of Adventure has thrown open its doors for summer 2021, so get ready to scream if you want to go faster.
And in even better news there’s a special deal for UAE residents that runs until the end of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. You can get entry for Dhs225 during Eid, so if you’re looking for things to do this week, this could be one for your list.
The huge indoor theme park covers more than 1.5million sq ft, and has loads of different zones to keep you occupied, housing 20 rides, as well as a 12-screen cinema.
The zones include The Marvel Zone, which is perfect for little superhero fans (and bigger ones) with rides including Doc Ock’s Revenge and Thor’s Thunder Spin.
Then there’s The Cartoon Network Zone where all your favour-ite, colourful characters like the Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10 can be found.
Thrill seekers can head to the Lost Valley where you can spot a dinosaur or two and hop aboard the high-speed Velociraptor roller coaster, which reaches 100kph in 2.5 sec-onds, or the gravity-defying Predator, featuring a 35-metre “beyond vertical” drop.
There’s also The Haunted Hotel if you’re looking for some scares, and if you get peckish there are 28 restaurants and cafes to grab a snack at.
The park closed temporarily for refurbishments and maintenance, but is now back in action and the team has completely sanitised the park, too, so now’s your chance to check it out if you haven’t already.
