How to watch UFC 249 live this weekend in the UAE

Ready for Gaethje vs Ferguson?

Sport has taken a back seat in recent weeks as the world took steps to introduce social distancing and self-isolation to stop the spread of COVID-19.

While many of the most popular sports are putting on the breaks, including Formula One and football, in the world of MMA it’s full steam ahead.

UFC 249 will go ahead on Saturday May 9, behind closed doors for the first time in the sport’s history.
MMA fans in the UAE will be excited for the event and looking forward to the next time the UFC books a date with Abu Dhabi in the near future.

A full card has been announced for the upcoming event that will be held without a crowd in Jacksonville, Florida.

Missing sport and want to watch the action?

UFC Arabia was launched last year to connect fight fans in the Middle East with the latest content from the biggest organization in MMA as well as provide access to a huge library of content.

Fans can sign up to UFC Arabia and make use of a free seven-day trial period to see what’s on offer.
If you enjoy the content then monthly subscriptions will cost Dhs18.99 per month or Dhs189.99 per year.
This weekend there are some big fights to look forward to including the interim lightweight championship fight between Justin Gaethje and Tony Ferguson and the bantamweight clash between Henry Cejudo and Dominick Cruz.

The main card is expected to start at 6am in the UAE with the prelims, including a fight between Donald Cerone and Anthony Pettis from 4am.
