Travelling can be stressful at the best of times, and when flying it’s easy to get flustered.
Does anyone really enjoy packing? Why does security at the airport seem to take much longer when you’re running late? And don’t even get us started on the stress you experience when you’re running through the airport trying to transfer to another flight.
Luckily in Abu Dhabi we’ve got a new terminal on the way that will help enhance our travel experience and take a little stress out of the whole shebang.
Plus, Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi’s airline has just been named the most punctual in the Middle East, so chances are if you’re flying with Etihad, you won’t see that dreaded word on the departures board – ‘delayed’.
Figures produced by data company OAG showed that Etihad is the only airline in the region whose punctually has averaged at 80 percent so far in 2019.
Additionally, the airline ranked 24th globally for on-time performance in July, the peak travel time for travel in the Middle East.
Etihad ranked ten percent higher than other airlines in the region so if you were flying away for a holiday this summer the chances are you left on time and faced no issues.
So if you’re heading off on a trip soon it’s good to know that you’re in safe hands with Abu Dhabi’s airline.
