Which flights from the UAE are still operating with Emirates and Etihad

Dozens of routes suspended, but both airlines still flying to cities worldwide

Dubai’s Emirates Airline and Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways have both suspended flights to destinations around the world as a result of travel and immigration restrictions to reduce the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) worldwide.

So far, Emirates has suspended flights to these destinations:

Africa

Abidjan (via Accra): From 21 March to 20 May
Abuja: From 23 March until further notice
Accra: From 20 March to 21 May
Algiers: From 18 March to 20 May
Cairo: From 19 March to 30 June
Casablanca: From 16 March to 30 June
Conakry: From 22 March to 19 May
Dakar (via Conakry): From 22 March to 19 May
Durban: From 24 March to 20 May
Harare (via Lusaka): From 20 March to 20 May
Khartoum: From 18 March to 20 May
Lagos: From 23 March until further notice

Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways has announced temporary changes to flight routes from the UAE capital to the rest of the world.

Changes are effectively now (except where stated otherwise below). Passengers facing flight cancellations are being informed that procedures are in place for refunds or for flight changes when services resume.

Those seeking refunds or changes are asked to refrain from contacting Etihad’s customer care centre unless their flight is scheduled in the next 48 hours.

Passengers scheduled to travel in the next few days will be treated as the priority.

Here are all the routes that have been temporarily suspended:

Africa

• Cairo: All flights suspended from March 20 to April 30.
• Casablanca: All flights suspended until April 30.
• Khartoum: All flights suspended from March 18 to April 30.
• Nairobi: All flights suspended from March 19 to April 30.
• Rabat: All flights suspended from April 30.

Asia

• Ahmedabad: All flights suspended until March 28.
• Bangalore: All flights suspended until March 28.

• Jakarta: Reduced from twice-daily to once-daily from March 18 to June 30.
• Male: Reduced to daily flights until April 30.
• Manila: All flights suspended from March 18 to 30.
• Seoul: Reduced from daily to four weekly flights operating on Tuedays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from March 30 to April 30.
• Singapore: Reduced from daily to four-times weekly on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from April 1 to 30.
• Tokyo: Reduced from daily to four-times weekly on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays from April 1 to 30.

Europe

• Athens: Reduced from daily flights to four-weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays from April 1 to April 30.
• Nur-Sultan: Reduced to one flight per week from March 19 to 31, then suspended from April 1 to April 30.

Middle East

• Bahrain: Reduced from three-daily flights to daily flights until March 31, increasing to twice-daily from April 1 to 30.
• Muscat: Reduced from three-daily flights to twice-daily flights until April 30.
