Abu Dhabi adds four more countries to ‘green list’ including Qatar

17 countries are now on Abu Dhabi’s green list

Abu Dhabi has added four more countries to its ‘green list’: Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

This follows the announcement that the UAE has reopened all land, sea and air ports to Qatar – for more on that head here www.timeoutabudhabi.com/travel/457879-uae-to-reopen-airspace-land-and-se….

The list of ‘green’ countries was originally published in December 2020 and while four new countries have been added, Australia, Greece, Greenland, Malaysia and Singapore have been removed from the list.

Travellers from ‘green’ countries will be allowed into the emirate when they receive a negative test result, while travellers from other countries must self-isolate for ten days. The ‘green’ list countries will be updated every two weeks so watch this www.timeoutabudhabi.com/news space for any update and developments.

If you’re planning a trip to Abu Dhabi, the full list of ‘green’ countries is as follows:

• Brunei
• China
• Hong Kong
• Isle of Man
• Kuwait
• Macao
• Mauritius
• Mongolia
• New Caledonia

• Oman
• Qatar
• Sao Tome and Principe
• Saudi Arabia

International travellers will be required to present a negative PCR test result received within 96 hours of their scheduled departure and take a second PCR test upon entering the emirate.
