Yas Marina is one of the most happening places to be during any weekend in Abu Dhabi, but now there’s a new event coming up that you won’t want to miss.
The Wipeout WKND is bringing water activities, music, pop-up bars and food stalls to Yas Island on October 11 and 12, and it sounds like the perfect way to spend a weekend now the weather is cooling off.
Friday October 11 will see the area taken over with an adults-only event from 4pm until 11pm. If you’re up for a laugh, and the chance to cool off, you can take on a huge speed slide, Wipeout obstacle course, gladiator-style water jousting, a salt-water swimming pool and more in the buzzing waterfront area.
There’s also an open-air chill-out garden behind Iris where you can relax with friends, plus there will be food stalls, pop-up bars, group games and live music, as well as Yas Marina’s eight bars, lounges and restaurants offering plenty of post-Wipeout fun late into the night.
Then on Saturday October 12, things take a more family-friendly turn, with activities suitable for all ages being held from 10am until 6pm.
Across the weekend, there will be mini SUP football tournaments, colourful inflatables, a large swimming pool and games on the grass.
