Canadian pop star announces UAE gig for May 4 next year

It’s official – Justin Bieber is coming to the UAE.

Biebermania will touch down on May 4 next year, when the teen megastar will perform at the Dubai Sevens Stadium.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Sunday September 23 through www.justinbieberdubai.com. Fans are encouraged to pre-register their interest now to avoid disappointment.

“It feels like only a short while ago when Justin Bieber suddenly emerged from the world of social media and hit the charts big time exposing us to ‘Biebermania’ for the first time,” said Thomas Ovesen, COO Done Events. “Now that we know the phenomenon is also an amazingly talented superstar, we look forward to welcoming Justin Bieber to Dubai for the very first time and for what will hopefully be his first of many concerts performing his hits to the legions of regional Beliebers.”

The announcement is likely to please Bieber’s thousands of fans – often known as Beliebers – in the city. Many have been campaigning on social media for many months for star to visit the Middle East.

Justin Bieber has been one of the world’s biggest celebrities since he was first discovered by an American talent scout on YouTube.
