Yas Marina circuit announces huge new calendar of events in Abu Dhabi

The track will host the F4 season finale and there are new times for TrainYas

There’s always something going on at Yas Island and the next year will be no different.

Yas Marina Circuit has announced another jam-packed calendar of events both on and off the track.

Highlights include hosting the finale of the F4 racing season during the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, new dates and times for the popular TrainYas sessions, the return of the Yas Racing Series, upgrades to DriveYas experiences and the return of Gulf 12 Hours and Walk 2019 events.

With the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix just around the corner excitement is already building for the big race and the concerts that this year include Travis Scott and The Killers.

During the event, Yas Marina Circuit will also host the season finale of the F4 racing season for the very first time, where UAE drivers Hamda and Amna Al Qubaisi will be competing, representing the UAE.

The race will give motorsport fans the opportunity to support local talent and enjoy a new experience as part of F1 weekend.

If you love to work out on Yas Marina circuit then you’ll be interested to hear that the StartYas, TrainYas and GoYas events will now be merged into TrainYas, which will take place on two evenings and two mornings every week.

Evening training will take place on Tuesday and Sunday from 6pm to 10pm and morning training sessions will take place on Wednesday and Thursday from 5am to 8am.

Motorsport fans will no doubt enjoy the The Yas Racing Series from October 24 to 26, the Rotax Max Challenge on January 24 and 25, and Yas Drift and Drag events taking place throughout the year.

The endurance challenge Gulf 12 Hours will also return to Yas Island on December 12 to 14.

Helping to raise awareness of diabetes and encourage the public to be more active, Walk 2019 will also return to the track on November 15.

Looking ahead to next year, some of the greatest triathletes in the world will return to Yas Island for the Daman World Triathlon Abu Dhabi 2020 on March 6 and 7.

That’s a lot of events.

We’re certainly looking forward to it all and the big race at the end of November.
